Hello from beautiful Adams, Massachusetts! Adams is small historic town located in Northern Berkshire County at the base of Mount Greylock.
I am an Artist, Textile Designer and Seamstress. I earned a BFA in Textile Design from Syracuse University in 1976, and for 30+ years I worked in the wallcoverings industry as a Colorist, Designer, Stylist and Freelance Artist.
In 2010, I opened my own storefront design studio in North Adams, MA, and there I launched "The Woodlands Collection", a new collection of fabrics designed by me and inspired by the textures and patterns of the New England landscape.
The fabrics were printed in a state-of-the-art digital printing factory in North Carolina on a canvas made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. They are an example of modern eco-friendly printing technologies.
In 2023 I relocated my studio to Adams, MA, and I have expanded my offerings to included fine quality Linen/Cotton Tea Towels & Napkins. This is a luxurious fabric with cheerful bright colors and beautiful patterns. The neatly sewn linens are perfect for every day home and as gifts.
I am happy to announce the launching a new collection of vintage cotton patterns called "Hamilton"! These patterns are inspired by hand painted textile design documents from the 1860s. I am printing my inspired interpretations of them on cotton sateen and they are looking great!
